What is Word Hunt?

Word Hunt is a simple and addictive word puzzle inspired by Wordle. It uses English five-letter words, and the rules are easy to follow: you have six attempts to guess a hidden word, and each guess gives you color-coded feedback that helps narrow down the answer. Green means the letter is in the correct place, yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong place, and gray means the letter is not part of the solution.

Why play Word Hunt?

Daily brain training games like Word Hunt, word search and crosswords are a fun way to stay sharp. They build vocabulary, challenge your logic and give you a nice sense of progress when the colors finally turn green. The game works well as a quick break during the day, whether you are on the bus, having your morning coffee or just want to challenge yourself.

Word Hunt vs. Wordle

The original Wordle focuses on English words, and Word Hunt now follows that same idea. On Ordkongen you also get small hints along the way if you get stuck. A new word appears every midnight, so everyone plays the same daily challenge. Can you beat your friends and family in fewer guesses?

Try today's Word Hunt now and see if you can guess the right word before you run out of attempts.
